Our standard tour inclusion includes an agile, lightweight 150cc Dual-Sport motorcycle equipped with protective crash bars and luggage rack. Riders seeking extra highway power and long-travel suspension can select the optional CFMOTO 450MT upgrade (+$750 USD).

Can I bring my own motorcycle to Pakistan?

Yes, if you are on an overland journey using Carnet de Passages. However, for our small-group fly-and-ride tours, we provide prepared, maintained motorcycles with dedicated mechanic support on riding days.

Can non-riders or passengers join the expedition?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Non-riding partners, photographers, or companions can travel in the accompanying 4x4 support vehicle. They travel the same scenic mountain routes and share the same hotels, meals, and evening stops.

Northern Pakistan (Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa mountain districts) is known for welcoming foreign adventure travelers. The primary hazards are mountain environmental conditions: altitude, weather variability, and road surfaces. We manage these risks with experienced local ride leaders, mechanic support on riding days, and dedicated support vehicles.

Eligible travelers can apply through Pakistan’s official online visa system. Visa eligibility, required documents, fees and processing times can vary by nationality and individual case; we provide confirmed itinerary and accommodation details after booking where needed.

How do you handle high altitude on passes like Khunjerab (4,693m) and Deosai (4,114m)?

Our itineraries are planned with gradual acclimatization over multiple days. We carry a comprehensive first-aid kit, monitor rider condition, and ensure hydration and pacing are maintained throughout high-altitude stretches.

Full-face or adventure helmet (ECE/DOT certified), armored motorcycle jacket (elbows/shoulders/back), armored riding pants or knee guards, rigid motorcycle boots with ankle protection, and CE-rated gloves. We also strongly recommend thermal base layers for pass summits.

In major cities and hubs (Islamabad, Hunza, Skardu), we use luxury hotels like Serena Hotels and boutique heritage inns. In remote outposts (Shimshal, Deosai), we use clean, characterful eco-lodges or luxury dome camps. All rooms feature clean bedding and hot showers.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

A $700 USD deposit per rider secures a scheduled-tour place. More than 90 days before departure, amounts paid above the deposit are refundable; 61–90 days before departure, 50% of amounts above the deposit are refundable; 60 days or fewer before departure, payments are non-refundable.
